When we bought this bed at IKEA, I had planned on sawing off about a foot of length on the legs to give me more headroom when sleeping. After a night or two, I found that I really liked having the bed so close to the ceiling, it just felt “cozy”. I guess. I don’t know, either way the bed never got cut down and I wound up with about 18 usable inches of sleeping space. But it’s awesome.
