February 21st – Utah, Day 7
Posted on February 27, 2015
The morning started off with a quick trip over to Gooseberry Mesa for the last bike ride of the trip, which turned out to be more slickrock than we were hoping. We left it quickly, and headed up to Angel’s Landing to make it to the top. Which I did. Without any complaining.
The crux of the hike up. 14 inch wide trail, 1300 foot drop to the left, 1500 foot drop to the right. Take your pick.
From the bridge overlook at the bottom of Zion Canyon, where the ground is so not-high-up, it’s wonderful.
From the summit of the Angel’s Landing hike.
Looking back down on the ridge we ascended to get to the top.
The crux again.
